I am searching for a data scraping tool for google scholar that ideally uses the common metadata from a publication (author/s, year of publication, keywords etc.).

publish or perish is a very good tool, but it has limitations such as max number per search, it will bring a number of duplicates and the abstracts will be limited. Not very useful for large volumes of articles
Excellent software ! It's exactly what I was looking for. I'm doing queries from PoP via Google scholar (with logical operators) and the resulting text-data base is really clean. Perfect for uploading in my text-structural network analysis software... Thanks so much, Christoph !
conda install -c conda-forge scholarly (best way, and then customis the search algorithm).
