Dear friends,
I am looking for a book/text on trend studies and their statistical analysis. So far I found out that a trend study focuses on the same population with different individuals at different times. Thus, I believe "regular" tests do not apply there.
For clarification: I do not mean trend analysis in ANOVA or with the same individuals over a certain time.

If you want two simple trend analyses, one for related and the other for unrelated groups, you can use Greene and D'Oliverira's book: learning to use statistical tests in psychology. Open university press. The Cromwell press, trowbridge, Wiltshire.
