Can you see luminal side in Intestinal punch biopsies?

I am collecting samples from human Intestinal punch biopsies, taken at endoscopies.

I am interested in placing biopsies in Organ Culture dishes, with luminal side (where epithelial cells reside) facing upward

How can I see sides in punch biopsies?

will zooming on photo help? Perhaps can see mucus?
