the using of collagenase is a good idea, but the testicular tubules are connected also by elastic fibres resistant to collagenase. We use purely mechanic procedure – sectioning of the testicular tissue on small segments by the sterile scalpel and pushing out of the content of the tubules by the crooked injection needle. If the spermatozoa are present, their finding is the matter of patience only.
I totally Agree With your reply sir but if collagenese enzyme used and sperm obtained , will icsi with those sperm will not cause any Fert faliure or reduced fertilization ??
Because of Enzymatic Effect or something like that.
you are right. The enzymic treatment brings risk of the sperm damage. Most enzyme substances are not suitable for the assisted reproduction, only exceptionally they are (e.g. hyaluronidase prepared for IVF).
