CAN WE MIX Single stained beads for FLUROSCENCE MINUS ONE CONTROL (FMO) in flow cytometry? ?

Hi,

For compensation, we can use single-stained beads in flow cytometry.

For gating control or FMO: can we just mix single-stained beads to get FMO?

It's always best to do your FMO on your cells, you can account for cell autofluorescence levels and get more relevant information about your positive cell populations.
