I have recovered a fractured human skull with clear signs of bone remodeling. Part of the fracture has not undergone remodeling. I suspect the cause of death to be a blunt force trauma to the frontal part of the skull. I was trying to figure out how long it might have taken for the part of the fracture to remodel because I suspect the victim may have been assaulted and left in the fields by the perpetrator(s).
