Dear colleagues,

I've been working with the Extended-Drucker-Prager cap model in ANSYS for a while now to model compaction behaviour in one specific direction. Whenever I hit the compaction cap of the model, the material is compacted in all three directions despite uniaxial loading.

Has someone faced familiar problems or can explain why this happens and if there's a way to prevent this?

Or is it just due to the numerical implementation?

Best regards and thanks for any help

Klaus
