I have carried out research to find out the nature of stalking, its socio-phonological impacts on victims, and strategies used by victims to cope with stalking. However, the manuscript exceeds the page limit of reputed journals' thereby leading me to think of the manuscript to divide into two different papers. One would consist of the nature of stalking and its psycho-social impacts and the other would be the strategies used by victims to cope with stalking. İs it ethically acceptable to use the data collected from the same participants for two different articles with different objectives?
Your expert opinion would be appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I do not see an ethical issue with using the same survey for two objectives and producing two articles. I believe many researchers do the same, producing multiple journal articles from the same survey. Of course, you do not want to make the articles overly similar.
For me there is no ethical problem, since you have a bigger data and you can look at the data from different angels. For example, European Social Survey or General Social Survey in the US, they are huge data open to researchers. Many many articles come out from the same data. But here, as Don Soo Chon mentioned you are not making the articles overly similar or you explain this in the paper maybe. Secondly a note to me: The art is writing short :). For me it would be much better to keep it in one paper, if you have more time to work on it. Another option is publishing a book.
Hi, as you know, giving research results by dividing points to the ethical problem of "slicing". Changing the research question prevents splitting the study even if the results are the same. sources write that this is clearly plagiarism. Similarly, I would like to present my work from “slicing”. My suggestion: you should research ethics and plagiarism in publications from the literature and examine the examples. respects.

I'd add that there is an argument to be made that it is unethical NOT to use the data collected from participants to the best of your ability in multiple publications. Research subjects put in time and effort (and perhaps considerable mental energy) into providing data for your study. Their contribution should be taken seriously and your research program should make the most out of what they have provided.
