In case you're looking for residues, there's no need to dilute the honey, cause the dilution will be provided by buffers you use in your protocols (i.e. HCl, acetone for sulfonamide based in HPLC or McIlvaine's buffer for Tetracycline in LC-MS/MS).
There are various protocols.. but in general there's no need to dilute honey
