As a student of plant tissue culture, I am doing direct regeneration of Chickpea from in vitro grown explants. For root induction, I have tried MS medium alone, half strength MS, NAA, IBA, IAA, in different conc. (0.1 to 2 mg/l) in full and half strength MS, and these auxins with lower BAP conc. but found no response.
Suggest me something for root induction of in vitro regenerated shoots of Chickpea.

You haven't mentioned the amount of BAP you use. If lower rate still doesn't help, why not remove BAP altogether and have IBA in half MS with 2% sucrose. If it still doesn't help, dip the shoot in 5 mM IBA and grow in half MS with no PGR.
Try NAA 0.5 mg/L, in half strength MS medium with 2 % sucrose which is known to induce rhizogenesis of shoots in vitro across several crop plants.
You can also try combinations of different concentrations of auxins. Also the incision that you are giving at the shoot base for root induction is very imporant.
you can try the approaches taken by these publications. one mentions of increasing sucrose to 6% + and other is only on root culture with growth hormones at different concentrations. Hope this should solve your problem. I will be happy if you let me know your results when available with these approaches even if non responsive
You can try induce roots in poted, remove your shoots from in vitro and use a comercial rooting with AIB or ANA in some plant is too easy
