I did bovine PBMC after Ficoll centrifugation suspended in PBS at 4 degree for 5 day and after this 70% are vital (PI neg). For store at - 80 degree you had to use DMSO 10% I think
Hi! you can freeze your cells, but you need a specific protocol for this. About storing at 4ºC, I would say it depends a lot on the kind of experiments that you want to do with them. A few hours should not be a problem, but if you are talking about days, then you would need to include good positive and negative controls, just to make sure that your cells are "working properly".
