Hi, I am using pentanol as the solvent phase in a liquid-liquid system to create microparticles by dehydration of aqueous droplets.

I would like to find a way to reuse the pentanol, which means removing the dissolved water. I have tried using 4A molecular sieves but without success (I'm not sure they were fully activated as we only have ovens that go up to 200C). Can I use a RotaVap or other evaporation technique to remove the dissolved water from the pentanol?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thank you
