Bradford Assay is effective for most proteins, but there are other, more suitable methods for accurately quantifying the amount of AAV capsid particles. The presence of DNA in the AAV capsid may lead to inaccurate protein concentration measurements. I prefer ELISA-based methods using antibodies specific to the capsid protein, which can provide quantitative measurements of AAV particles. You can also use other methods described in the literature:
