I tried it before, and it works well all the time. You can just thaw them and wash once with 10mL of complete medium to get rid of DMSO. After then, you can lyse them as usual.

Hi Nur, why not thaw that cells and grow them. When you directly lyse the cells they are gone forever If you thaw them out and grow them and freeze them then then you hand 20+ frozen vials to play with.

Because reviving the cells take a week n some more the incubator is fully occupied.. Lately my cells start to grow contaminants..

Hi Eli. i think its too risky to do directly from your cyropreserve cells. i will definitely recommend you grow the cells first and reach confluency and proceed from the fresh cells.
