I have done with Meta-analysis and now want to continue it as mixed/multi method by integrating its finding with a qualitative descriptive study. will it be explanatory sequential design?

A meta-analysis would follow the format of PRISMA and, yes, when you follow it. That would make a relatively large section in your study and add your study in addition to it. The reason why not including a meta-analysis is the analysis can be a single study, so why we should include other components. If you could solve that part, you should be fine with it.
Meta-analysis is a numbers game, on the other hand, descriptive study is more of a theme thing. If you ask my personal opinion, I would separate them and publish them in different articles in specific journals. However, If you are working on a Thesis or Research project focusing on an issue holistically, you can carry both of them in the same basket.
Well it all depends upon the objectives of your study. Meta-analysis is done for research which is already done and available ; meaning its hypothesis has already been tested while qualitative studies are hypothesis generating studies. So if you identified a research gap after performing meta-analysis and would like to conduct a qualitative study to test that hypothesis, then it can be done. Meta analysis follows PRISMA guidelines while qualitative studies have separate guidelines which I am attaching here for reference:

Moreover you need IRB for qualitative studies mostly but you don't need any ethical approval for conducting a meta-analysis. It all boils down to the objectives of your study.
