As far as I know, the answer is no for Poliovirus type 2. Some non polio enteroviruses can be transfected and replicate. Some other Picornaviruses imay infect the BHK-21 cells, like TMEV. It is better to use RD, L20B, Hep 2 or Vero cells to culture the poliovirus sabin or not. Depending on the purpose of your research.
You need the poliovirus receptor to be present to get infection (CD155). This is not expressed on murine cells. Hep2 is a HeLa cell contaminant so should infect well with Sabin 1. Sabin 1 grows well in HeLa cells.
