Because i follow in my methode, i follow the past methode, so i cant use KOH for netralize

The pH of water is 7.00, and you also want the pH of the material to be 7.00, but now stuck in pH 5.00. I think it is a little difficult to adjust the pH to be 7.00 just with water. The concentration of H+ is more than OH- but one H2O = H+ and OH- .With water u just can decrease the concentration of H+.
