Furin is expressed as a proprotein, so i had included a myc tag after its cleavage site on the n terminal position. have confirmed the tag by sequencing. Aptly, i need to see the band on a western blot experiment. But i dont see. I checked both cell lysate and sup. Using a immediate early expression promoter (insect origin) for my construct. Checked after 3 days post transfection. I do not have a furin antibody unfortunately, and relying on my myc tag antibody. Help and thoughts are much appreciated.
