Hi!
Is compressible solver (Roe Flux) capable to simulate very low mach incompressible flow? I am aware of the fact that computational time will be very hight but what about the accuracy?
The reason of asking is, in compressible flow we have finite value of acoustic velocity, but infinite for very low mach incompressible flow.
Kindly, add your valuable knowledge, experience and ideas.

There are specific cares for solving low-Mach flows, generally pre-conditioners are applied. For moderately low Mach (about 0.2) I worked also with a fully compressible solver without using any pre-conditioner.
However, this topic is largely covered by the literature.
Thanks a lot for your reply. But as I know using preconditioning looses the time accuracy. Is there any way that it will retain time accuracy?
