No. You should not use "coal" volatilization data for biomass. These are very different substances, and the mechanism of pyrolysis and gasification are very different. The best is to look up the literature for biomass gasification and pyrolysis, and try to select data relevant to your (1) heating rate, and (2) the temperature level. Also, "biomass" is quite diverse. Wide differences exist between wood chips, and municipal waste light fraction. Final advise, make small scale tests to see what specific results you can get with dT/dt and Tmax you selected. There is no simple route to calculate in Fluent, etc-- and certainly not using "coal" data. And, there is nos such thing as "standard biomass".
