Normally the degassing process carry out between 200°C and 300°C, it will depend of the decomposition temperature of the sample, in your case for CuS it can be between 250 and 300°C. The time must be necessary to ensure that the surface is completely clean, the sorption equipment must carry out a test to know if the sample is ready or not, although normally can be from 12 to 24 hours of degassing in vacuum.
It depends on the stability of your material as said by Eric Aguilar Garcia. You can verify it through TGA analysis. For my sample (MOF and MOF composite), I prefer degassing at 120-150 °C for 12 hours.
