I have a compound derived from a plant, and I want to look for its inhibitory activity against my protein of interest. It was already showed that the plant based compound is moderate in a toxic nature.
What is the procedure, and how to validate the inhibitory activity of that compound against protein molecules?
Ok, We can do it possible by several method. One simple technique is, you just incubate your protein of interest with test compound and run the gel. And find out any changes in the protein integrity. But in this case we cant find out exact inhibition. Second method as we done is we did cyclic voltametry study, a modern electrochemical technique here we can find inhibition studies very nicely. Third one is by Circular dichroism. Last one is by in silico method. By applying bioinformatics tools we do study inhibition of proteins.
