I need to measure the effect of freeze-thaw cycle on thioredoxin protein. As far as I remember I need to thaw samples at room temperature then re-freeze them again but do I need to aliquot them and then put each aliquot at different time points? If anyone has freeze-thaw cycle just give me an example?

Hi Raha,
Basically this is a technique to induce necrosis of cells.
One cycle of F/T consists of a freezing step in liquid N2 followed by a thawing step in a 37C water bath.
Necrotic cell death induced by F/T is usually achieved by 3 or more cycles.
You can avoid massive liquefaction of cellular structures by performing one cycle of F/T.
