Hi Lourdes, Yes, you can use dip coating for depositing a film of CNTs. Although its an easy method but there is very little control over film characteristics like thickness, uniformity and others.... I would suggest you to use spin coating technique... it is very easy as well and you just need a spin coater..... You can easily find videos for it on youtube.... here is one example

Spin coating is easier.

PMMA optical fiber was coated with MWCNTs using DIP COATING in the following paper. The same procedure can be adapted for the glass substrate too.

As Tushar has pointed out, spin coating offers a viable option. I can recommend the simplistic and inexpensive airbrush. If sprayed at a low enough rate in a slightly volatile solvent system, you will built up an isotropic film of your CNTs. Airbrushes can be purchased for less than $100. Iwata is one of the best manufacturers, but there are a plethora of good options available. I would recommend the ability to control flow rate and pressure flow independently. One important safety note is that you will aerosolize CNTs, so please consider the implications of where you do the airbrushing.

Now, if funding is available, ultrasonic spray coating options are available and offer much more precise control and a wider operating range.
