We use the Applied Biosystem's Genetic Analyzer 3130 in my lab. It's relatively easy to use and with routine maintenance (fluid changes, chamber flushes) it runs really good. We use it to sequence gene regions of fungi and algae (lichens) and we get very good results.

Also , the site Elisabed mentioned is good. Maybe you might be able to find a used one there. However, if you buy new you get the warranties and trained servicemen will come and set it all up for you and fix any problems that may arise.
We have to choose DNA sequencer as per our applications.
Applied Biosystems (LifeTech) capillary based DNA sequencing analyzers are famous for routine research activities like clone screening, Genome walking etc.,
Basically 3 different sub models are available as per the number of capillaries (8,24,96 capillaries)
Basic 8 capillary machine (3500 DNA Genetic Analyzer) will cost you around 60 lack rupees.
each sample will take 2hrs 10min to complete read length around 1000bp.
So as per that, 8 capillary machine takes ~30hrs to complete 98 samples.
So choose your model as per your sample frequency.
Finally the consumables of DNA sequencing are very expensive and having very short self life at room temperature (~1 week). So if you don't have enough number of samples per week, it would cost you too much.. in that case better to out source instead of purchasing own machine.
