Can anyone provide me the exact procedure to prepare potassium 2-phenylpropan-2-olate and potassium triphenylmethanolate?

As 2-phenylpropan-2-ol is high boiling liquid I am getting red colored gummy mass after reacting it with potassium and facing problems in further evaporation of the alcohol. Triphenylmethanol is solid- how do I do the reaction with potassium?
