HNB (Hydroxy naphthol blue) is used for LAMP reaction by Bst Polymerase.Can the same dye be used to detect the amplification of Phi29 DNA polymerase?

HNB detects Mg2+ released after addition of dNTPs to the growing DNA chain. Mg2+ is therefore released by both Phi29 and Bst polymerase, so wondering if there is a possibility of detection.
