Has anybody used One Shot® OmniMAX™ 2 T1R Chemically Competent E. coli from Invitrogen? I could not get the result of my cloning with those, while same plasmid was successfully cloned in NEB 5 alpha cells.

I used both of them for gateway (LR) and classic clonning. I have no problem with them..
What kind of cloning you are making?

i have used them for both BP and LR cloning, but could not get the result.

have you checked the transformation efficiency of these competent cells, probably it has been lost.

I used DH5alpha for BP cloning and omnimax and DH5 for LR. I never had problems. For classic cloning I use only DH5 alpha, and don't forget to make a positive control that can help you to know if your bacterias are still efficients.
