I was performing a gene expression analysis using real-time PCR when I decided to calculate the relative quantification by using an excel sheet. Since I have 3 biological replicates / treatments, I was confused if I have to average the Cq to each treatment before or after to perform the deltaCt calculus. Where can I find an example excel sheet with the calculations of gene expression?

As far as can say from exp, either adding the 3 Ct values and averaging or averaging the delta Ct value should give you very similar results. if you want an excel sheet for relative gene expression calculation, please share your email address and phone number and I will try to send it out to you. If there are 6 biological replicates how do you do statistical analysis to know whether the difference is significant or not?
