Can anyone help on the interaction of cancer cell-immune cells in an acidic microenvironment?

Cancer cells usually have an acidic microenvironment. Is there any effect of the environment on the cancer cell survival or skipping the phagocytosis by the phagocytes?

In general terms, the microenvironment gets modulated by the metabolic adaptations of the cancer cell and it is also known to be an anergic millieu.
