How to intrepret results for Normal PCR and Real Time PCR? How to differentiate them? Kindly give basic differences between the two PCR's? Attach any kind of manual or publication details regarding it.
Normal PCR only shows you qualitative result (i.e. hit or no hit, yes or no), and it will show you (depends on your primer design) whether there is or there isn't amplification of your target gene/sequence.
The other PCR (I assume real-time PCR??; however now is more commonly known as quantitative PCR) shows you the relative amplification ammount (in case you do expression studies from different variables or copy number). Another good thing is that you don't need to run gel electrophoresis after qPCR :)
