Can anyone help me finding some articles about active ingredients in hair dyes' formulations added for permanence of color?

Hello,

I'm writing about the use of saponins in hair dyes as active ingredients for improving the permanence of color in hair after washes and I need to know about more compounds that could act the same way in other formulations. They may be natural or synthetic.

I'm not finding quite much bibliography about these compounds so I would be grateful if anyone could help me!
