I'm investigating how gender stereotypes are changing during the last twenty years in animation cinema. Disney and Pixar are triying to introduce new points of view and new opportunities for their main characters, if they are masculine or feminine, but, how and in what kind of issues are they modified?
Women In Animation shd be able to help with references. Plus, for me, e.g. in the forthcoming Moana, there are crucial issues about the intersection of gender and racial stereotypes. Best of luck!

reviewing roles played by women in animation is important. reviewing all aspects imaginaries and checking whether women in animation are demonised more often than men, are women playing roles that reinforce positive values in societyor not etc
