I will conduct several tensile testing for CFRP lap joint with rivet. However, since I also need to validate it using numerical approach, I was thinking to use hashin Damage model for finite element analysis. No material parameters for this damage model provided. I need to make some testing to get it.
Does anybody have experience? What standard should be used? Any references?

Dear Mohd Suhairil Meon, I would direct your Attention to our paper at ICM11 at Largo di Como in Italy in 2011. It contains a lot of material properties of cfrp material as well as Parameter for Hashin which we derived for the severe condition during machining of cfrp. Title is "Macro and micro process modeling of the cutting of carbon fiber reinforced plastics using FEM" (ABAQUS), by R. Rentsch, O. Pecat and E. Brinksmeier.

Please refer to the following paper by Ireneusz Lapczyk and Juan A. Hurtado ( Lapczyk and J. Hurtado, “Progressive damage modeling in fiber-reinforced materials,” Composites Part A: Applied Science and Manufacturing, vol. 38, pp. 2333–2341, 2007.).
This paper extensively details the implementation of Hashin's failure criteria in ABAQUS for CRFP's, including the choice of modelling parameters and damage evolution laws. Furthermore, it might interest you to know that the approach presented in this paper is the actual in-built composite damage model in ABAQUS, as the authors are affilated with ABAQUS Inc. The paper also covers important aspects of spurious mesh sensitivity, which is characteristic in strain-softening materials.

just want to suggest to review some other models like Manson-Halford which belongs to damage curve base approach. You can find the orginal paper and some modified models of Manson-halford, besides this Otani-Song s model can be useful in this context.
