I am planning to order antibodies for my experiment which can be used for ChIP, Western blot, Immuno-fluorescence (IF) and Immuno-histochemistry. Some suppliers mention their product to be compatible for all of the above experiments except IF and instead it is mentioned ICC (Immuno-cytochemistry) in place of IF. Please kindly suggest me if an antibody for ICC can also be used for IF?
Classically, IHC is AB staining of tissue, while ICC is used for cultured cells or single cells. IF tells you that the detection is by flourescence. SO in brief, they should work in both situations, may however be dependent on the fixatives used. See also here for a more thorough explanation

In prinicipal it should work. It largely depends on the label of your secondary antibody (with a fluorophore like FITC or enzymatic like HRP or AP). Beware that pretreatment of your sample (like fixation with for example formalin) will affect binding of the primary antibody.
Suppliers only mention applications that have been show to be succesfull. In many cases they are not aware of its effective use in other procedures. In some cases you can get a test-sample.
Its likely to work, but may need some optimisation. It the antibody is a monoclonal or if it is good enough for CHIP is shouldn't have too much issue with non specific binding. Just be careful to optimise the fixation, antigen retreival, and the primary antibody treatment time.
Theoretically it should work in both. In our lab we use the same primary antibody on both cultured cells (ICC) and tissue sections (IHC), and they work. But make sure the primary antibody you are using is compatible with the protocol you are using. Some primary antibodies are compatible for only IHC (P), i.e., paraffin embedded tissues, while some others are compatible only for IHC (F), i.e., OCT embedded frozen tissues.
Theoretically it should work but practically that does not happen . Kindly check secondary antibodies which plays equal role in detection.
