I am working on buckling /post buckling analysis for cantilever beams.
I need to get the values for the critical load fro the beams and have to verify it with another analytical solution. I have two beams (485 by 51.1 mm and 245 by 24.5 mm).
As I proceed ,I get the same values from abaqus for analytical and eigen value for the beam 485 by 51.1 . However, when I follow the exact same procedure for the beam 245 by 24.5, I am off by 5 units.
What could be the thing I need to work on?
How should I procced?
