Hi everyone,

Can you help me clarify what are the steps to amplify an RNA extracted from a virus?

what are the essential steps to amplify viral RNA?

Does incubation with a reverse transcriptase require primers?

Is a denaturation step required before retrotranscription?

Must the cDNA formation step be followed by addition of RNase H or is this an optional step?

Does Bst3.0 require random primers or oligo(dt)?
