Following the digestion of decellularized tissue using pepsin, which is a better method for the quantifying the released proteins to estimate the rate of reaction; Bradford assay or the BCA assay?
The additives include phosphate buffer saline, NaOH and HCl for adjusting the pH of the solution, but I can't find any literature regarding their effects on Bradford assay. However, the BCA assay is used in similar researches.
Please, do you have any information regarding the effects of such components?
In fact, I tried Bradford assay with the released proteins, and the results were reliable. However, for the decellularized tissue, where SDS was used for digestion, the results using the assay were strange. This may be due to the high concentration of the used SDS.
