Both can be used. However, you need to check any interference of the assay method from components of your protein solution, such as buffer additives.

The additives include phosphate buffer saline, NaOH and HCl for adjusting the pH of the solution, but I can't find any literature regarding their effects on Bradford assay. However, the BCA assay is used in similar researches.

Please, do you have any information regarding the effects of such components?

In fact, I tried Bradford assay with the released proteins, and the results were reliable. However, for the decellularized tissue, where SDS was used for digestion, the results using the assay were strange. This may be due to the high concentration of the used SDS.
