Dear colleagues, some of you probably deal almost every day with cell measurement and biovolume estimation. I do. Nowadays there are software solutions for doing this automatically or semi-automatically. I think I have found a simple and effective formula for the biovolume estimation of single cells from microscopic measurements, but I do not know if it is already in use or not. Will someone please help me find as many formulas as possible of these employed in the software mentioned above? Please notice that mine is not an algorithm, so I don’t need to compare it to other algorithms. Thanks a lot.
