I am working on production of bacterial cellulose. I am finding difficulty in culturing of Acetobacters specific for production of bacterial cellulose.
We first need to know what kind of problem you have encountered.
When using a specific strain to produce Bacterial cellulose, you must first determine the strain you want to use, then select the culture method and the medium used, and finally consider how to remove the fiber membrane you want without destroying the fiber structure and do proper sterilization.
Attached is my research for your reference.

Yeah, I want Acetobacter strain specifically (Gluconacetobacter xylinus or Komagataeibacter xylinus). The specific culture media which I am using are HS media, GYC, GYEC, Carr media. I am using static culture conditions for bacterial cellulose production, I worked with Orange, Apple, banana Kamboucha tea and Paper pulp.
Problem:
Not finding the exact strain. Inspite of this many acetic acid strains are cultured in my media.
