I need to know at which wavelength random coils , B-sheets , alpha- helix etc will appear in amide 1 of bone using raman . Lot of literature is there for FTIR but i couldn't find for RAMAN.
in the past few years I've been working a lot on the determination of the secondary structure from IR and Raman spectra, reading a lot of literature. I prepared for a congress the following picture summarizing my literature survey: I hope this could help you!
Thank you sir. I found some good literature saying 1660-1672 there are turns but some says it is beta sheets in raman of amide I. can you please clarify?
It is true that there are mixed attribution; I usually consider that the range between 1667 ans 1675 is attributable to beta-sheet, while 1675-1695 is typical of turns.
