Hi Everyone,

I’m seeking your assistance for characterization of a colloidal antimony sol that I believe contains Sb(V)–peroxo/hydroxo complexes (i.e., peroxo-antimonates or colloidal antimonic acid). However, in the XPS spectra, the Sb 3d and O 1s peaks overlap significantly, making it difficult to conclusively determine the oxidation state and assign the correct species.

I would greatly appreciate:

  • Representative survey scan spectra for Sb(V)–containing colloids
  • High-resolution Sb 3d and O 1s deconvoluted spectra, with peak positions and assignments
  • Any guidance on identifying Sb(V) vs Sb(III) species in such systems
  • References or data for peroxo-antimonates or hydrated Sb₂O₅ (antimonic acid)

Thanks in advance for any insights, examples, or literature you can share!
