Normally we used Powder Metallurgy technique that involve milling process etc.
Normally in powder metallurgy we prefer to use zinc sterate as a binder
Thanks Amrishraj for sharing your info. I am aware and absolutely sure that ZnS will be the best choice (in powder metallurgy route), BUT will there be any other suitable binder other than ZnS?
Bit confused, at what stage do you want to bind them ? if at green stage during pressing and compaction. I prefer not to use any binder, the Cu is soft enough to give endurable green compacts, as the binder has contamination problems and when it burns leaves its place vacant and reduces the relative sintered density.

You have a ductile matrix (copper) and brittle reinforcement (SiC). The composite mixture can be pressed without any binder. However, you can used the zinc sterate to decrease friction between particles. Moreover, friction between particle and die surface can be decreased by using zinc sterate and so green density increases with decreasing friction. Moreover, it should be noted that green density changes as following factors:
1-Particle morphology, particle size, ductility of matrix powders
2-Oxcide content
3-Volume fraction of reinfocement particles.
4-Densification method and pressure values

The lack of wetting between copper matrix and SiC reinforcement can lead to debonding of the interface during service like. This can be addressed by electroless copper plating on SiC. There are lot of papers available on electroless copper plating on SiC, few are listed below,
