Graphene nano-ribbons can be grown directly on the surface of a semiconductor, but it's hard to control the ribbons growth, and at the same time, aligning them all in the same direction.

Which of these thermal conductivity tests (Searle's bar method vs Lee Disc method), is suitable for a metal matrix composite like AlSiC or CuSiC?

My next question will be, if I would like to prepare these tests (Searle Bar & Lee Disc) in my lab, in which there is no proper set-up that available, how should I go ahead with it?
