There is so many fake news spread through the social media that sometimes it's hard to distinguish between fake a true news. I think we move from the information age towards the disinformation age. What's your opinion about it. Looking forward to your opinion about it.
It was found by a survey conducted by statistical that around 52% of users encounter fake news regularly on social media. Indeed, it is becoming the epicenter of mis/disinformation diffusion. Many a researches are being carried out to suggest methods and models to mitigate the effect of mis/disinformation. Many social media platforms are countering fake news by attaching a warning with the shared content. warning based approaches lessen the effect of misinformation and that too combined with an explanation.
Disinformation. Everything going around is fake. Not only media but see around your self. Everything is fake.
Technology is a major tool for spreading fake news, but it also offers methods for analyzing their real impacts and tools with which fake news can be argued and even, more or less democratically, stopped.
