I'm glad it was funny, lol I guess I was comparing the amount of work it would take to identify every single digit of pi with the amount of work it would take to follow the patterns of mutation when the human body creates a new brand of DNA with each birth... if that makes sense... ?? lol think eternal or never ending.....
Hey check out this article from the NY Times though...
I agree with the title in the link of Katarzyna's post. The word 'improbable' kind of defines what I was going for with that ambiguous 'point' I made lol
Because Science is not cheap at all ^^ What we have learnt is just small pieces of the huge picture. I don't think millions or even billion of dollars is enough to uncover that picture in a short time!
Anyway, we have developed various cancer therapies based on those researches... and of course they need to be optimized continuously depending on the on-going researches.
However why cancer become more popular in these days?! I think the BAD environment, toxic foods, etc... are the main points. Cancer Research helps to understand how the cancer happens, what should we handle with them in the right way...
but to eliminate completely cancer is a very long long way or seems impossible because we could not make our environment as good as before! we keep polluting our earth by many ways! we are still keep using & eating toxic products!... The BIG obstacle to eliminate the cancer is the BIG benefit from those polluting industries!
When I started my research my intention was to reveal the healing properties of honey so that it can be useful for mankind. So I gave my life and dedication to it. I tried to get grants to support it and pursue without turning back. Now I am satisfied that the biochemical composition of honey is exposed to the world. And its healing properties are also well known. More people are using honey for healing chronic wounds. And recently, due to its unique antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, intravenous honey injection has been used to treat cancer patients with promising results. So it is up to you to make your research meaningful and in accordance with reality.
Thank you Vu for your answer. It seems now that cancer research should be, by suitable mechanisms, be more interactive with the public by which we can both push further for better research and better environment. Raising the awareness about cancer research and the dangers of pollution is one of the good research results.
Thank you Kamaruddin. I am looking forward to know more about the healing elements in honey, probably new medications can be synthesized from special extracted elements from honey.
