Gareth, yes I have read a meta-analyse of Brewin but it doesn't explain the role of dissociation in PTSD.
Justin, this is exactly the problem of my research is to say, the role of dissocation in the development of PTSD. Does dissociation is a mechanism or not? Thank you for your reading recommandation.
Check out the work of Dr. Daniella Schiller at the Mount Siani School of Medicine- she directs the lab of affective neuroscience and is doing some very interesting research and writing on PTSD.
