Ticks and fleas can transmit some bacteria affecting humans, in ours work, we detect bartonella, ehrlichia, rickettsia, Yersinia Pesti, Borrelia and francisella tularensis in hare’s ectoparasites. If you can help me to obtain some items or documentation in this topic?

For Yersinia Pesti I would suggest a (realtime) PCR.
For Ehrlichia, Borrelia, Bartonella and Rickettsia, multiple reverse line blots have been developed. Please see attached papers for more information.
I used immuno- fluorescence technique for detection of rickettsia antigen in tick infested wild rodent and for detection of rickettsia antibodies in rodent sera.
