Are the mother and daughter centrioles perpendicular to each other in all types of cilia basal bodies/ MTOC?

Dear Jarshad Jas,

Strict perpendicularity is maintained only when the young centriole is stil a procentriole and thereafter during mitosis. After mitosis in cycling cells, the mutually perpendicular orientation disappears. It may be partially preserved in some terminally differentiated cells, such as neutrophils for example.
