Are non classical monocytes are negative for CD14?

Hi guys,

Am defining monocyte subsets. And classifying then to classical, intermediate and non classical. But when i am gatting non classical the CD14 expression seems smear up negative. What i know is non classical monocytes express dull CD14 but i would like to know are there negative for CD14? am trying to cut non classical with reference to both negative (CD16 &CD14). However, i feel like i may have missed some population (CD16 bright and CD14 negative).
